The Chicago Bulls began a nine-game road trip in Miami on Sunday, and that resumes Monday night in Washington as the team continues to tour the east coast. Chicago will not return to the United Center until Feb. 14.
While the Bulls are still sitting at the top of the Central division, they could use some recuperation time to address the rash of injuries that struck the team in January. Richard Hamilton played on Sunday but acknowledged that his groin, as well as a thigh bruise, are bothering him. C.J. Watson and Luol Deng were sidelined against the Heat. But the lockout-shortened schedule isn't going to do any favors; Chicago plays goes back-to-back twice during the road trip.
The full schedule is here, and this is the week ahead:
Jan. 30: at Washington Wizards (6:00 p.m. CT, WCIU)
Feb. 1: at Philadelphia 76ers (6:00 p.m. CT, CSN)
Feb. 2: at New York Knicks (7:00 p.m. CT, TNT)
