The Chicago Bulls are looking to keep their current winning streak going, but they're off to a sluggish start against the Atlanta Hawks and trail by eight points after the first quarter, 23-15. Chicago shot 43.8% from the field compared to 47.6% for the Hawks. Atlanta also has fewer turnovers and has done a better job rebounding the basketball.
Derrick Rose leads the scoring for Chicago with five points on 2-5 shooting; he also has a pair of assists. Luol Deng has four points, and Carlos Boozer grabbed three boards in the quarter. It appears unlikely that Rip Hamilton will play in the game. C.J. Watson is out for sure.
Marvin Williams leads the Hawks with six points on 3-3 shooting, while Joe Johnson and Josh Smith each have five points.
