NBA Power Rankings 2012: Bulls Hold On To Top Spot

The Chicago Bulls hold the best record in the NBA, so it may not be a surprise that they come in at No. 1 in the most recent edition of Tom Ziller's NBA Power Rankings. But it's still a bit of a feat, considering nearly half of the Bulls' roster is currently out with an injury, including reigning MVP Derrick Rose. But neither Rose's absence, or those of Joakim Noah or Taj Gibson, really derailed the Bulls last week, as the team picked up three victories while only dropping one game.

Here's Ziller's take on the Bulls:

1. Chicago Bulls 15-3 W: PHX, CLE, CHA; L: MEM Blog-A-Bull
Even without Derrick Rose, the Bulls are blowing out most opponents. Luol Deng has been a monster, and deserve serious All-Star consideration in the forward-heavy East.

The Bulls will face the New Jersey Nets, Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks this week before a highly anticipated showdown on Sunday with the Miami Heat.
