The Chicago Bulls are without Derrick Rose in Cleveland Friday night, but so far they haven't felt too many ill effects at the offensive end and lead 34-26 after one quarter of play.
Luol Deng and C.J. Watson have each scored eight points for the Bulls, who hit 15-of-25 field goal attempts in the period. Rip Hamilton and Carlos Boozer have six points apiece, while Joakim Noah has scored four points and pulled down six boards.

Rookie point guard Kyrie Irving has 11 for Cleveland on 4-5 shooting, inluding 3-4 from beyond the arc. The Cavaliers 10-21 overall but made six of nine three-point attempts.
