Derrick Rose will not return to the Chicago Bulls' lineup on Friday night, coach Tom Thibodeau told reporters. Rose is dealing with a painful toe injury that has limited his ability to play over the last week or so -- this will be the third consecutive game missed by Rose, and the fourth in the last six.

Rose said Friday that the injury is much like the turf toe issue he suffered in the past, and that he re-aggravated the injury while playing in a game last weekend.
"It's exactly what it is," Rose said when asked if it compared to his previous injury. "I wasn't able to bend my toe in like three years. When that happened it bent it and it aggravated it and I played on it sooner than I was suppose to play on it and it was real bad."
The Bulls are 2-1 without Rose in the lineup this season.
