2012 NBA All-Star Voting: Derrick Rose Leads All Eastern Conference Guards In Votes

Chicago Bulls star point guard Derrick Rose leads all Eastern Conference guards with 640,476 votes for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game.

Voting for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game is still in its early stages, but Derrick Rose, Luol Deng, Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah are representing the Chicago Bulls well. Noah has been disappointing and looks to have regressed so far this season, so you can expect him to fall a bit in the coming weeks, but Rose, Boozer and Deng all deserve the recognition at this point. Rose leads all Eastern Conference guards with 640,476 votes, narrowly edging out Dwyane Wade (637,912) but riding high above Rajon Rando (253,969).

Luol Deng has received the second-highest total of votes on the team with 85,086, while Noah (75,038), Boozer (53,477) and Richard Hamilton (36,418) lag far behind Rose. Dwight Howard leads all players with 754,737 votes, followed by Kobe Bryant (690,613), LeBron James (640,789), the Bulls' own Derrick Rose, Dwyane Wade and Kevin Durant (633,538).

The 2012 NBA All-Star Game will air live at 7 p.m. CT on TNT and will take place at the Amway Center in Orlando on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012. Fans can vote on NBA.com or up to 10 times per day via text message by texting the player's last name to 6-9-6-2-2 ("MYNBA") in the U.S. Voting closes on January 31st, 2012, and the honors will be announced on February 2nd during a one-hour special on TNT prior to a double-header featuring the Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks (7:00 p.m. CT).
