Bulls Vs. Timberwolves Final Score: Chicago Wins 111-100 On The Road

The Chicago Bulls received a pretty strong fight from the Minnesota Timberwolves in a 111-100 victory on Tuesday night. A big early lead for Chicago disappeared after a big run by Minnesota, but the Bulls inched away over the course of the second half. The win bumps the Bulls up to 9-2 on the season, one of the top records in the NBA, while the Timberwolves drop to 3-7 on the season.

It was a pretty solid offensive effort by Chicago, which shot 53 percent from the field. The Bulls were even better from long range, knocking down 11 of 20 three-point shots, and out-rebounded the Timberwolves. Minnesota wasn't nearly as effective, making 42 percent of its shots.

Derrick Rose had an exceptional game for the Bulls as the game's leading scorer with 31 points. He was 12-for-22 from the field and added 11 assists in his best statistical performance in a while. Luol Deng also had a big game for Chicago with 21 points and 11 rebounds, and Ronnie Brewer added 17 points on the side.

Luke Ridnour led Minnesota with 22 points on 8-for-11 shooting in a strong game for Timberwolves point guards. Ricky Rubio was also impressive, scoring 13 points, dishing 12 assists, grabbing four rebounds and nabbing four steals. Kevin Love put up 20 points and 13 rebounds, but made just 5 of his 18 shots from the field.
