NBA Playoffs: Bulls Will Stick With Regular Rotation Despite Taj Gibson's Fourth Quarter Scoring

The Chicago Bulls looked quite a bit different in the fourth quarter of their Game 5 victory over the Atlanta Hawks during Tuesday night's NBA Playoffs. Instead of starters Joakim Noah, Carlos Boozer and Keith Bogans getting the crunch-time minutes, Taj Gibson, Omer Asik and Ronnie Brewer played the final stanza for Tom Thibodeau's team.

That won't be a change that's likely to repeat itself next game, however, according to Thibodeau's statements to K.C. Johnson.

"We're going to go right back to what we've done all year," Thibodeau said. "We're not going to change what we've done. As the game unfolds, if there's foul trouble, an injury or something's working well, we'll ride that a bit longer. But we're not going to change."

As Johnson pointed out in his story, Gibson was instrumental in the victory with 11 fourth-quarter points while Asik and Brewer both brought their positive defensive presences in the 12-point victory.
