Chicago Bulls Pull Keith Bogans From Practice, According To Report

According to the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson, Chicago Bulls shooting guard Keith Bogans was pulled off the practice floor shortly before Friday's practice was set to begin. The Bulls have a $1.73 million option on Bogans, who started all 82 games for the team last season. But the Bulls are looking for an upgrade at that particular guard spot, and as Johnson notes, they don't want Bogans sustaining an injury in the meantime:

According to league sources, Bogans' contract officially is non-guaranteed and above the league minimum. With the Bulls exploring other shooting guard options, management is being careful and preventing Bogans from sustaining an injury.

The Bulls have been in contact with free agent guards Jason Richardson and Jamal Crawford, among others.
