According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Bulls will be starting their abbreviated 2011-2012 NBA schedule with a tryst along the west coast:
#Bulls indeed will open with 4-game trip. At Lakers, Warriors, Kings and Clippers. Home opener, as reported yesterday, New Year's Day.
The NBA will be announcing the full 2011-2012 schedule on Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. CST, but little bits of information have been leaking throughout the course of the day.
Previously, it became public knowledge that the Bulls would be playing earlier in the day on their opening game against the Los Angeles Lakers in order to avoid a conflict with the Chicago Bears game on Christmas night. Tuesday morning, the word got out that the Bulls will also be away for the preseason opener, to be played against the Indiana Pacers.
