Derrick Rose recently signed a max contract extension with the Chicago Bulls that will pay him $94 million over the course of the next five years, but if a report of his impending shoe deal with adidas is to be believed, his salary from the Bulls may be something close to pocket change.
According to ESPN's Marc Stein, Derrick Rose is on the verge of a "lifetime" shoe deal with adidas that may pay him as much as $250 million over the next ten years. As Stein tells it, Rose's contract with adidas may be able to jump up that high if the star's profile in China, where he is the brand's lone counter to Nike pitchmen like Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, continues to skyrocket.
