The Chicago Bulls looked a step slow during the first half of their Monday night matchup against the Golden State Warriors, and not much changed in the third quarter. The Bulls trail the Warriors 78-61 after three quarters in Oakland. Chicago is getting dominated statistically across the board.
Warriors foward David Lee picked apart the Bulls' Carlos Boozer in the third quarter, and now has 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field. Golden State's backcourt of Stephen Curry and Monta Ellis continue to pick apart Chicago. After combining for just 8-of-31 from the field last night against the Clippers, the pair already has 40 combined points on 14-of-23 shooting through three quarter tonight.
Luol Deng was the Bulls' lone offensive threat in the third. Deng now has 16 points on 8-of-11 shooting to go with four rebounds. Derrick Rose is not playing well. The Bulls' star guard has 11 points on 4-of-12 shooting.
