The Chicago Bulls continue their four-game West Coast road trip tonight in Oakland, where they trail the Golden State Warriors 30-22 after one quarter. Each team is playing on the second end of a back-to-back. Chicago is 1-0 after a Christmas day win over the Los Angeles Lakers, while the Warriors are 0-1 following a loss to the Clippers.
Rip Hamilton scored only six points in his Chicago debut against the Lakers, but started strong in game two. Hamilton scored six in the first quarter on 3-4 shooting and added an assist. It was a slow start for Bulls star Derrick Rose. Rose finished with two points on 1-of-3 shooting.
Star Warriors guard Monte Ellis already has 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting. Golden State forward David Lee has eight points on 4-for-5 shooting.
Chicago finished with nine turnovers in the first quarter, compared to just one for Golden State.
