Bulls Vs. Lakers Score Update: Chicago Takes 56-49 Lead Into Halftime

It took Derrick Rose a little while to get going at the offensive end this afternoon, but once he did, he was tough for the Los Angeles Lakers to stop. Following a scoreless first quarter, Rose hit all four of his field goal attempts in the second, including a pair of three-pointers and this nifty layup over Kobe Bryant:

Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng also reached double figures in the first half, and the newly acquired Richard Hamilton has four points. C.J. Watson leads the bench with six points on two three-pointers. Chicago was 24-41 from the field, including 5-8 from beyond the arc.

Kobe Bryant leads the Lakers with 14 points on 6-10 shooting and Paul Gasol is also in double figures with 10.
