Bulls Vs. Pacers: Rip Hamilton To Start In Preseason Finale

The 2011 NBA Preseason may be lasting only two games, but newly-acquired Richard "Rip" Hamilton expects to play in 50% of it. According to the Chicago Tribune, the Bulls' latest free agent acquisition will start on Tuesday night against the Indiana Pacers.

Making his debut in United Center, the 12-year pro will don the Bulls uniform for the first time in front of the Chicago home crowd, looking to bring his 19.3 points-per-36-minutes average with him. Hamilton spent the last nine seasons with the Detroit Pistons, and had his minutes reduced in the 2010-2011 NBA Season, going from about 33.7 minutes to 27.2 minutes.

The Bulls signed Hamilton less than a week ago on December 14, expecting to make the dynamic shooter their starting guard.
