Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau has confirmed that shooting guard Richard Hamilton will start Tuesday night for the Bulls in their preseason home opener against the Indiana Pacers, according to Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago. Here is the exact tweet of the news:
Thibs says rip starts. Brewer comes off the bench

Brewer moving to the bench isn't the only news related to Bulls players making way for Hamilton. CJ Watson also sold his No. 32 jersey number to Hamilton, who has worn that number in Detroit for many years, and has taken on No. 7 for himself. As for the details on the transaction, Watson was tight-lipped on the whole situation:
CJ on switching jerseys (wears No. 7 now so Rip could have his No. 32): "Yeah, I got paid. Can't tell you how much."
