NBA Free Agency 2011: Chicago Bulls Interested In Guard Jamal Crawford, According To Report

According to HoopsWorld's Alex Kennedy, the Bulls were one of a bunch of teams to reach out to shooting guard Jamal Crawford on Wednesday, which was the first day that clubs could begin to talk to free agents:

A number of teams made calls to Crawford’s camp on Wednesday including the New Jersey Nets, New Orleans Hornets, Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers, according to sources close to the situation.

Crawford has been an outstanding contributor off the bench for the Atlanta Hawks over the last two seasons, averaging 18.0 points per game in 2009-10 and 14.4 PPG in 2010-11. He is a career 35% three-point shooter.
