Your Sports TV Schedule, 1/8: NFL Playoffs - Saints/Seahawks, Jets/Colts

You've been waiting all week and here is the NFL TV schedule for today -- the first two of the four NFL wild card round playoff games. Several years ago, the league moved these from early/late afternoon timeslots on Saturday to get most of the games into prime time on the East Coast. So take the afternoon off (or watch some college hoops) and settle in around midafternoon. And, the Bulls have a big game against the Celtics.

10 a.m., ESPN2: College basketball, West Virginia at No. 13 Georgetown. Is anyone really up this early to watch sports on a Saturday?

↵↵

11 a.m., ESPN: College football, BBVA Compass Bowl: Pittsburgh vs. Kentucky at Birmingham, Alabama. Anyone know what a BBVA Compass is?

↵↵

12 noon, ESPN2: College basketball, No. 17 Kansas State at Oklahoma State.

↵↵

12 noon, Big Ten Network: College basketball, No. 19 Michigan State at Penn State.

↵↵

3:30 p.m., NBC-5: NFL playoffs, Saints at Seahawks. On any given Sunday, or Saturday... but seriously, the Saints should win this game.

↵↵

7 p.m., WGN (Chicago only): NBA, Bulls vs. Celtics at the United Center. This game can be seen nationally on NBA-TV.

↵↵

7 p.m., NBC-5: NFL playoffs, Jets at Colts. The Colts bounced the Jets in last year's AFC title game, so Rex Ryan's bunch will be looking for revenge.

7 p.m., WPWR-My50: AHL, Wolves vs. Bulldogs at Allstate Arena.
