Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) – The 76ers’ guards overshadowed the Bulls’ All-Star playmaker, as Jodie Meeks, Lou Williams and Jrue Holiday combined for 63 points to carry Philadelphia to a 105-99 victory over Chicago.
Meeks led the way with 24 points on 8-of-11 shooting, while Williams scored 20, which included a pair of late buckets that quelled Chicago’s comeback bid and sealed Philly’s second straight win.
Holiday added 19 points and six assists as the Sixers avenged an embarrassing 121-76 defeat at Chicago on December 21.
Derrick Rose finished with 27 points and nine assists, while Carlos Boozer had game-highs of 31 points and 13 rebounds in defeat.
The Bulls were coming off a last-second loss at New Jersey on Wednesday and have fallen in consecutive games for just the third time all season.
