Your Sports TV Schedule, 1/4: Sugar Bowl, Bulls/Raptors

The seemingly endless college football bowl season continues tonight with the Sugar Bowl. (You get the day off from this tomorrow.) The Bulls are back in action. And it seems like an all-Ohio State night tonight.

12 noon, MLB Network: Top 20 Games of the last 50 years, No. 20: Phillies 23, Cubs 22 from 1979. A one-hour recap of this wild game. (Also at 3 p.m.)

6 p.m., ESPN2: College basketball, Indiana at No. 21 Minnesota.

↵↵

7 p.m., CSN Chicago: NBA, Bulls vs. Raptors at the United Center. This is another game the Bulls really should win fairly easily.

↵↵

7 p.m., ESPN: Allstate Sugar Bowl, Ohio State vs. Arkansas at the Superdome in New Orleans. The Big Ten is 2-5 in bowl games this year, including losing all five games on New Year's Day. Do you really think Ohio State can break that losing streak? (Me either.)

8 p.m., Big Ten Network: College basketball, No. 2 Ohio State at Iowa. Maybe OSU will win one of its two games tonight. (Hint: this is the more likely victory.)
