Both the Bulls and Blackhawks are in action tonight; the Bulls take a quick one-game trip to Washington while the Hawks host Nashville. There's also yet another in the seemingly endless parade of college football bowl games.

↵↵7 p.m., ESPN: College football, MAACO Las Vegas Bowl, No. 19 Utah vs. No. 10 Boise State. Boise State appeared headed to a BCS New Year's Day (or later) bowl until they were upset by Nevada. Here's the consolation prize -- a holiday trip to Vegas (not bad, actually). They'll face Utah, who also had a shot at the BCS until a late season fade. The bad news for both teams is that rain is in the forecast.
