Bulls' Carlos Boozer Practices Tuesday, Says He's Ready To Play

Chicago Breaking Sports reports that Bulls forward Carlos Boozer practiced on Tuesday, for the second straight day, and reported no setbacks in his recovery from the fifth metacarpal injury he suffered on Oct. 2, before the regular season even started. Boozer was quoted as saying “it’s still a little sore”, but neither he nor coach Tom Thibodeau see any reason to think that Boozer can’t play soon.

It’s still not clear whether Boozer will play in tomorrow’s welcome home to the United Center game against the Orlando Magic, or whether his season debut will be this weekend. It seems doubtful that the Bulls would have him start his year on the road Friday against the Celtics, so if it’s not tomorrow, Boozer would then make his season debut at home on Saturday against the Houston Rockets.

Tomorrow’s game against the Magic will begin at 7 p.m. CST and be televised on CSN Chicago.
