Bulls Erase 23-Point Deficit, Topple Suns in 2OT

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) – Derrick Rose scored 35 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out seven assists, and the Chicago Bulls notched a hard- fought 123-115 double overtime victory over the Phoenix Suns at US Airways Center.

Rose played for about 13 minutes with five fouls and hit a game-tying layup with 0.1 seconds left in the first overtime for the Bulls, who improved to 3-2 on their season-long seven-game circus road trip. Luol Deng contributed with 26 points and 10 rebounds, while Joakim Noah had 17 points, 15 rebounds and five assists, including the pass to Rose to tie the game in the first OT.

The Bulls were down by as many as 23 before staging a comeback.

Grant Hill led six Suns in double-figures with a season-high 27 points, though Phoenix lost for the fourth time in five games. Hakim Warrick had 23 points off the bench, while Steve Nash provided 14 points and 16 assists.

Jason Richardson, Channing Frye and Hedo Turkoglu had 20, 16 and 10 points, respectively, in defeat. Turkoglu also had 10 boards.
