Last night’s first Bulls pre-season telecast of the 2010-11 NBA season on Comcast SportsNet, featuring Bulls superstars Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah, along with the debut of new Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau, posted a 2.54 household rating, reaching approx. 89,000 total households in the Chicago DMA – peaking at a 3.2 (over 112,000 total households). The 2.54 game average beats Comcast SportsNet’s previous Bulls pre-season ratings record set on Oct. 9, 2008 vs. Dallas (2.3 rating) and is the highest Bulls pre-season game rating on any Chicago regional sports network since October 11, 1997 when Michael Jordan and the Bulls hosted Seattle (3.2 rating).
