Luol Deng Has 22 As Bulls Defeat Raptors 110-103

The Bulls, with only one game remaining on their preseason schedule, got 22 points from Luol Deng and Derrick Rose added 20, and they beat the Toronto Raptors on the road 110-103 in front of a crowd announced as 12,681 at the Air Canada Centre.

Yes, “Centre”, in that unusual Canadian way of spelling “Center.”

Rose also had eight rebounds and nine assists in the win, which raised the Bulls’ preseason record to 3-4, in a game that had Joakim Noah (flu) and Kyle Korver (ankle) absent.

The Bulls trailed by four points at halftime but outscored the Raptors in the third quarter by seven and in the fourth quarter by four, to ice the seven-point win. Leandro Barbosa led the Raptors with 22 points and Andrea Bargnani had 19.

The Bulls return to the United Center on Friday for their final preseason game against the Indiana Pacers. The game will begin at 7 p.m. CDT and will be televised locally in Chicago on WCIU.
