Blackhawks 2012 Free Agency: Zach Parise Considers Chicago 1 Of 2 Finalists

Rich Chere of the Star-Ledger is reporting veteran free agent LW Zach Parise has apparently narrowed his search to just two possible landing places, the Chicago Blackhawks among them:

Parise has played all seven of his NHL seasons with the New Jersey Devils, and he has scored nearly 200 goals with over 400 points in that span. In the 2011-12 NHL season, he played in all 82 Devils games, averaging a career-high 20:53 minutes on the ice while scoring 31 goals on 293 shots.

The Minneapolis, Minnesota, native also made an All-Star appearance in the 2009 NHL All-Star Game, but then missed much of the 2010-11 NHL Season with a torn meniscus in his right knee.
