The courtship of Martin Brodeur: Free Agent was a short one. Just a day after the Chicago Blackhawks, amongst other teams, expressed interest in signing the legendary goalie, Brodeur decided to re-sign with the New Jersey Devils, the only team he's ever played for.

That almost certainly means that the Blackhawks will bring back the goalie tandem of Corey Crawford and Ray Emery, both of who are already under contract for next season and make a serviceable at worst pairing.
