The Chicago Blackhawks' 2012 offseason is just underway, and with the NHL Draft finishing up this weekend, the team's front office will move onto retooling the team in different ways. On the night of the draft, general manager Stan Bowman told reporters that he will complete at least a few trades within the next few days.

Around this time in 2011, Bowman made two major trades, dealing defenseman Brian Campbell and winger Tomas Kopecky to the Florida Panthers in two separate deals. In that Kopecky trade, the Blackhawks picked up a seventh round pick in the 2012 draft.
