With the Los Angeles Kings winning the Stanley Cup on Monday night, the focus now shifts to the 2012-12 season.
Bovada.lv has released its 2013 Stanley Cup odds, and the Blackhawks are one of the favored teams, coming in at 12/1 odds to win it all.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are the favorite at 7/1 odds. The defending champions Kings are second at 11/1. But behind those teams are the Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers, Vancouver Canucks and St. Louis Blues all at 12/1.
This past season, Chicago finished sixth in the Western Conference and third in the Central Division, despite finishing with a 45-26-11 record and 101 points. The depth of the division is apparent, with three teams given 12/1 odds. The Nashville Predators aren't far behind at 18/1 odds. The Columbus Blue Jackets are tied for the worst odds at 75/1.
