Despite trailing most of the game, the Chicago Blackhawks managed to stave off an aggressive Phoenix Coyotes offense, overcome eight minutes in penalties from LW Viktor Stalberg and score two goals late to guarantee a Game 6 in the 2012 Western Conference Quarterfinals.
Just 2:44 into the overtime period, Blackhawks captain C Jonathan Toews won his face off against C Daymond Langkow, redirecting the puck to Stalberg. The left wing then dished the puck back to Toews, who escaped some heavy traffic along the wall, to find himself free, approaching an unprotected G Mike Smith:
The goal, which delighted the strong contingent of Blackhawks fans at the Jobing.com Arena, elicited some less-euphoric reactions from the beaten Langkow:

With the 2-1 overtime win, the Blackhaws will return to Chicago for a Game 6 at the United Center.
