Blackhawks Vs. Coyotes, 2012 NHL Playoffs Game 4: Chicago Loses 3-2 In OT

After a big comeback, the Chicago Blackhawks didn't last long in the overtime period of a 3-2 defeat against the Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday night. The Blackhawks scored twice in the final ten minutes of the game to force overtime, but quickly unraveled defensively to lose the game.

Just over two minutes into the overtime period, Phoenix's Mikkel Boedker got an open route to the net against Chicago goaltender Corey Crawford following a scrum on the other it. Racing down the ice, he slid the puck right between Crawford's legs for the game-winning goal, stunning the crowd of over 22,000 at the United Center:

It was the first shot attempt by either team in the overtime period, but that was all that was needed. The Coyotes now have a 3-1 advantage over the Blackhawks in the seven-game series with things going back to Phoenix for Game 5 on Saturday.
