Blackhawks Vs. Rangers Score Update: New York Up 1-0 After First

The New York Rangers have lost three of four heading into Friday night's match up with the Chicago Blackhawks, but they got off to a good start in Chicago, going up 1-0 on the Hawks late in the first period on Artem Anisimov's 14th goal of the season. Anisimov's goal, which was assisted by John Mitchell, came with just 47 seconds to play in what was a relatively evenly fought period.

Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist turned away all seven of Chicago's shots, which barely bested the Blackhawks' Ray Emery, who saved seven of eight shots by New York. The Blackhawks are still without captain Jonathan Towes, who participated in Chicago's morning skate but sat out the game as he deals with the lingering effects of a concussion.
