Blackhawks Vs. Red Wings Score Update: Chicago Earns Impressive Win

Throughout the season, Joe Louis Arena has been one of the most difficult places for road opposition to earn a victory. However, the Chicago Blackhawks proved just how good they can be when everything is clicking, as they went into Detroit and knocked off the Red Wings with a 2-1 victory.

Patrick Sharp was the driving force for the Blackhawks in the victory. Sharp scored the opening goal of the game and also dished out the assist on the game-winner in the second period. Patrick Kane netted the game-winner for Chicago, which came with less than two minutes remaining in the period. Roy Emery was solid in net for Chicago, making 23 saves.

The lone goal for the Red Wings was scored by Niklas Kronwall and was assisted by Darren Helm and Brad Stuart. Despite only attempting 18 shots in the game, Chicago did just enough to leave Detroit with the key win.
