The Chicago Blackhawks are looking for their second win over the Detroit Red Wings in less than a month Sunday. Chicago defeated Detroit 2-1 on Feb. 21.
The Blackhawks snapped a three-game skid with a home victory over the Maple Leafs on Wednesday. They won again for consecutive victories with a 2-1 decision at Ottawa on Friday. That was only Chicago's third road win in the past 16 road games. Chicago is 13-17-3 on the road this season compared to 22-7-4 at home.
Bryan Bickell and Marian Hossa scored and Patrick Sharp assisted on both goals for Chicago, which played its sixth consecutive game without captain Jonathan Toews due to what is believed to be a concussion.
Detroit picked up its second win of the week on Friday night against the Minnesota Wild. They beat Columbus on Tuesday night, snapping a three-game losing streak.
