The Chicago Blackhawks have faltered at times in the second half of the season but have managed to stay in the playoff hunt and currently sit sixth in the Western Conference as the postseason is nearly upon us. They are hoping that they will be at full strength for the playoffs and it now appears it is a possibility they may have the services of one of their key players earlier than that.
According to Tracey Myers of CSN Chicago, Blackhawks center Jonathan Toews has been cleared for contact and skated in Chicago on Saturday. If all goes well, Toews could return in one of the four final Blackhawks game before the season ends.
Toews has been out of action since February 18 after suffering a concussion.
