Blackhawks Vs. Devils Preview: Chicago Looks To Rebound Against New Jersey

The Blackhawks will take on the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night.

The Chicago Blackhawks had won five games in a row before getting crushed against the consistently pesky Nashville Predators 6-1 on Sunday night. Tonight in New Jersey, the 'Hawks will look to get back on track against the Devils. It's a game between two evenly matched teams. Chicago enters sixt in the Western Conference with 92 points; New Jersey is sixth in the East with 90 points.

New Jersey is led by forward Ilya Kovalchuk, who leads the team in goals (32) and points (75). Center Patrik Elias has also been solid this season, tallying 25 goals and 45 assists thus far.

Right wing Marian Hossa has been tasked with powering the Chicago offense while center Jonathan Toews continues to miss games with a concussion. Hossa leads the team in points (74) and had a seven-game point streak killed against the Devils.

Chicago is 7-2-1 in its last 10 games, New Jersey is 5-4-1.
