Canucks Vs. Blackhawks Preview: Chicago To Try To Extend Win Streak To Five

The Chicago Blackhawks won't be at the top of the standings by the end of the season, but they've been playing well in March as the season winds down. They host the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday night in a battle of Western Conference contenders.

Vancouver has struggled of late despite holding steady as the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference standings, losing five of its past seven games. The Canucks got shutout in a 2-0 defeat against the Minnesota Wild earlier this week, and they've only won three times in their past ten games.

Chicago's played much better of late, winning four in a row and eight of its past ten games after going through a pretty rough stretch in February. The offense has played well, scoring at least four goals in each of the wins during the recent streak.
