The Chicago Blackhawks took an early 2-0 lead over the Dallas Stars on Friday night in the Lone Star State, with Chicago star Patrick Sharp helping to lead the way. He did not score the first goal, though; that came from Dave Bolland— who, with his 18th, is inching towards the 20 goal plateau— with only ten seconds elapsed in the game. Bolland's goal came on assists from Andrew Shaw and Bryan Bickell.
Sharp then quickly followed with a goal that came about 90 seconds later, leaving fans that straggled into the game wondering how it's possible that two goals were scored in the game's first two minutes. Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford turned away all seven of the shots he saw in the period.
