Blues Vs. Blackhawks Score Update: Chicago Changes Goalies, Trims Lead To 3-2

The Chicago Blackhawks are trailing 3-2 against the St. Louis Blues after two periods at the United Center. Chicago benched goaltender Ray Emery in favor of Corey Crawford following a brutal first period effort by the starter in the hopes of making a comeback.

So far, so good for Chicago, as Crawford saved all eight shots that St. Louis got on goal during the second period. While the Blackhawks couldn't tie the game up, Viktor Stalberg's goal roughly 14 minutes into the period at least cut the lead down to a single goal.

The Blackhawks have had three power play opportunities on Tuesday, but they haven't been able to capitalize on any of them. Getting more quality play from Crawford will be key if Chicago wants any chance of pulling off this comeback against one of the league's top teams, though.
