ESPN The Magazine's Craig Custance caught up with Blackhawks GM about injured star Jonathan Toews, and while there'd been a report that Toews could return to the ice on Tuesday night, that now appears less likely.
Stan Bowman said he didn't think Toews would play tomorrow but didn't rule out Friday or Sunday. Optimistic it'll happen within next week.

‘‘I wouldn’t say I’m 100 percent,’’ said Toews, who participated in the morning skate Sunday but hasn’t been cleared for contact. ‘‘Obviously, if I was, I think I’d be ready to push myself right to the limit to get back into the lineup, and [this injury is] about being smart and not rushing that.’’
Toews has missed 10 consecutive games with a concussion.
