Beyond captain Jonathan Toews, the Chicago Blackhawks will also be without Niklas Hjalmarsson, Sean O'Donnell, Brendan Morrison and Michael Frolik as they host the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday, according to Bruce Miles of the Daily Herald.
Hjalmarsson has been dealing with an upper body injury of late, but he was healthy enough to skate during practice on Tuesday and might be able to play against the Ottawa Senators on Friday. He hasn't played in a Chicago victory since Jan. 20.
Morrison has also played sparingly of late while struggling. He's been scratched numerous times this season since being traded to Chicago following the All-Star break, appearing in just seven games wearing a Blackhawks uniform thus far.
