Red Wings Vs. Blackhawks: Chicago Goes For Four Straight Wins

The Chicago Blackhawks (32-21-7) host the Detroit Red Wings (41-17-2) on Tuesday night.

The Chicago Blackhawks have finally started to play better hockey, and after dropping nine consecutive games they bring a three-game winning streak to Tuesday's home matchup against the Detroit Red Wings. The Red Wings own the NHL's best record and have ripped off six straight wins, so the Hawks have plenty of work to do.

Embattled goaltender Corey Crawford has put together several solid performances recently. He has allowed just four goals over the last three games, and posted save percentages of 97 percent in the past two wins. Detroit's All-Star goaltender Jimmy Howard is expected to return from a broken finger injury on Tuesday, so Crawford will need to bring his 'A' game for the Hawks to extend their streak.

The first three head-to-head matchups this season have been very close. The Hawks picked up a 3-2 win at the United Center back on Dec. 30, but the Red Wings responded with tight 3-2 overtime wins on Jan. 8 and 14. Here is some information to help you find the game:

Game date/time: 7:00 PM CT, Tuesday, February 21, 2012

Location: United Center, Chicago, IL

TV: NBC SN

Radio: 720 AM
