Many Chicago Blackhawks will take part in the "Champs for Charity" game on Friday night at Chicago's Allstate Arena. Several NHL stars are expected to take part in the game which will feature many member of the Blackhawks' 2010 Stanley Cup championship team facing off against stars from around the NHL.
The idea was conceived by former Blackhawk Adam Burish, and hopes to raise $250k for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicago and Northwest Indiana.
Blackhawks players are excited for a chance to play in front of a group of hometown fans. Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews said "we're going to actually feel like we're playing a real game in front of the fans here in Chicago."
