Blackhawks Vs Red Wings Preview: Hawks Look To Snap Three Game Skid

Hawks and Red Wings meet for second time this season.

The Blackhawks welcome their rivals from the Motor City Sunday night at the United Center. Sunday will be the second meeting of the season between the Hawks (24-13-4) and Red Wings (25-14-1). Chicago won the first meeting 3-2 on December 30th.

Corey Crawford is scheduled to start in goal for the Blackhawks. Crawford this season is 15-10-2 with a GAA of 2.86.

Ty Conklin is the probable starter for the Red Wings Sunday. Conklin is 1-4-0 with a GAA of 3.23.

The Blackhawks are in the midst of a slump having lost their last three games. They have also lost their top spot in the Western Conference to the St. Louis Blues. If the playoffs started today the Blackhawks would be the fourth seed in the West.

Sunday's game is scheduled to start at 6:30 and will be televised on NBC Sports Network.
