The Chicago Blackhawks haven't been in Philadelphia since they hoisted Lord Stanley's cup for the first time in a long, long time. Both the Hawks and the Philadelphia Flyers have been on a tear this season and a re-match isn't out of the question. The Flyers have had a short stretch of going 2-4-1, including falling in the 2012 Winter Classic 3-2 to the New York Rangers and dropping them to second overall in the Atlantic Division, but overall on the season the Flyers have been very good.
The Blackhawks are also looking to rebound from a 4-3 loss on Monday to the Edmonton Oilers. Not only that, but the Blackhawks will be a bit short handed after Daniel Carcillo for seven games following a hit on Tom Gilbert against the Oilers. The Hawks will also be without Steve Montador and center Marcus Kruger, as the the team placed them on injured reserve. "When we lose one of our key guys, we find a way to play without him," captain Jonathan Toews said. "But it's no fun when that happens."
