On Friday evening, the Chicago Blackhawks announced a trade with the Calgary Flames:

The deal sends defenseman Brian Connelly to Calgary in exchange for Morrison, who gives the Blackhawks some added depth at forward. Morrison has four goals and 11 points in 28 games with the Flames this season. The 15-year NHL veteran has scored 200 goals in his career, with a season-best 25 for Vancouver in 2003.
The 25-year-old Connelly has 36 points (5 G, 31 A) in 44 games with the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs this season. This is his fourth season with the IceHogs.
