As CSN's Chris Boden and Tracey Meyers discuss, that break comes at a good time for Toews, as he has a full week to rest the injury if he needs to do so.

And Joel Quenneville believes Toews will take the entire week off; he indicated Monday that Toews probably would not play in Sunday's All-Star game.Quenneville also said the injury isn't serious and that he expects Toews will be ready to return the lineup when the team resumes play after the All-Star break on Jan. 31.
