Blackhawks Vs. Panthers Recap: Hawks Coast To Easy 3-1 Victory

The Chicago Blackhawks continued their hot hockey amidst a near-blizzard in Chicago with a 3-1 victory over the sinking Florida Panthers. The victory was Chicago's fifth in their last six games after starting the new year with four straight losses, and it helped them polish off a three straight home game with their third straight victory.

The Hawks were led by Patrick Kane, who put Chicago's third goal into the net late in the third period and assisted on Jonathan Toews goal to open the night. The goal was Kane's 11th, and the assist was his 30th, giving him 41 total points, which bumps him ahead of Patrick Sharp for third on the team. The game's second goal, which would ultimately prove to be the game winner, came from Duncan Keith, who lit the lamp for hte third time this season.

The Blackhawks will kick off a home-and-home with the Nashville Predators in the Music City on Saturday night at 7 p.m. CST.
