Blackhawks Vs. Panthers: Kane Goal Puts Chicago Up 3-0

A bit of a tough year for Patrick Kane continued to get slightly better on Friday night, as the diminutive Chicago Blackhawks winger put his team up 3-0 over the Florida Panthers midway through the second period. Kane's unassisted goal, which came 13:05 in the second, was number on 11 on the season.

For their part, the Panthers have been able to put 15 shots on net so far, but all have been turned away by Blackhawks goalie Ray Emery, who is keeping his stellar season rolling. Ex-Blackhawk defenseman Brian Campbell has been the most active Panther tonight, putting four shots on net in just over 15 minutes of ice time. Fellow ex-Hawk Tomas Fleischmann has put one shot on goal tonight, and has been on the ice for two of Chicago's three goals.
