Blackhawks Vs. Sharks Final Score: Chicago Holds On For 4-3 Victory Over San Jose

There was unwanted drama for the Chicago Blackhawks in the late stages of Sunday's game against San Jose -- the Sharks scored a goal with five minutes to go to pull within one and went on the power play for the game's final 67 seconds -- but Chicago was able to fend off the charge and hang on for a 4-3 win.

Andrew Shaw gave the Blackhawks a 4-2 lead early in the third period with his fourth tally of the game. Tommy Wingels scored for San Jose to close the gap to 4-3 with 4:57 to play, and while shortly thereafter it looked like Chicago had picked up an insurance goal, it was eventually overturned.

But it ended up a non-issue for the Blackhawks, who survived a 6-on-4 situation in the final minute to win the game.
